School Site Council is a group of staff, students, parents, and the Principal that help make decisions for the school. Members review and evaluate school improvement programs and school budgets and are generally elected by their peers. For example, parents elect the parent representatives, students elect students and teachers elect teachers.[1] We meet one Wednesday each month after school from 2:45-3:35pm. 

At the meetings, each member shares some good things that are happening around the school, shares if there’s anything that needs improvement, and decides how some of the school’s budget should get spent. If you are interested in being a voice and active change agent at our site consider joining your Spartan School Site Council.
